Old & New Collide – Marist College, Poughkeepsie, New York

Located in Poughkeepsie, New York, Marist College is home to a rich heritage of century-old historical tradition. The Marist Brothers formed the college in the Hudson River Valley in 1905 to provide training for future educators. Today, the school is heralded as one of the leading colleges of the arts and sciences in the country.

The design team at Signature Streetscapes partnered with Fastsigns 455, based in Wappinger’s Falls, New York, to develop a custom marker to aid the Dutchess County emergency services in dispatching crews to specific buildings on campus.

The result of the collaborative effort utilized Signature Streetscapes decorative aluminum materials and fabrication expertise to develop a sign unit that incorporated both the historical tradition of the college and a modern approach to street marking.

Our large selection of standard products and in-house fabrication services allow for the industry’s best lead-times for your custom, time-sensitive signage project.
